Voldemort to Nigel Thornberry
Today I liked a facebook page entitled: On a scale from Voldemort to Nigel Thornberry, how big is your nose? Haha, gotta love 90s babies.

After I showed my parents my personal statement...
Dad: This was awesome. I loved reading it and it brought a tear to my eye.
Mom: You guys are crazy. Am I really a blood relative?
Dad: You are a blood relative of Andi’s, but you have no Canadian blood in you.
Not everyone does. You know our motto… "the few, the proud, the hockey-loving Canadians”
Mom: Why did you brainwash my children?
Dad: I did no such thing. I took her to one hockey game. The rest was the power of genetics.

Saigon, Vietnam, Day 5
On my last day in Ho Chi Minh City, I went out to the War Remnants Museum. The museum was pretty incredible with planes and tons of pictures and information about the Vietnam War. There were propaganda posters all over the first floor and upstairs was the Agent Orange room and War History sections. One poster said, “My son died in vain, don’t fight, go to prison”. Reading all the posters and...

Ho Chi Minh City Outskirts, Vietnam, Day 4
On my fourth day in Ho Chi Minh City I did a Semester at Sea community service trip at a school for disabled children. Most of the children at the school were hearing-impaired, but there were also children with severe ADHD and Down Syndrome. We traveled to the outskirts of the city to the Hoc Mon District, and brought with us toys and supplies for the children. I brought some silly bands from home...
Semester at Sea Auction
Yeah, it blew my mind. People were spending unbelievable amounts of money for concert tickets, getting to raise the flag when we get to San Diego, rented out vacation homes, girl scout cookies, and getting off the ship first. Two girls were bidding against each other to get off the ship first. One of them shouted out $1600 to get off first, and the other said she would match it if she could get...
Lazy blogger
So, I have definitely been slacking with my blogging for the last couple of weeks. I am so busy with school work and papers that it is almost impossible to take time out of my day to finish my blogging! I am working on finishing my blog entries about Vietnam and then slowly but surely getting to China and Taiwan. Right now the ship is headed towards Hilo, Hawaii and we have a shipboard auction...
